About this workshop

An oil painting day based on Vanessa Bell’s Still Life of about 1933. You study the original, watch a demonstration on tone and contrast, then reinterpret it using only white, black, yellow ochre and brown. You go home with a finished painting. Open to beginners and those with some oil experience, aged 16 and over.
