Five days making glazes from rocks, minerals, wood ash and local clays. You look for and prepare materials, run glaze tests and firings, and hear short talks on geology, glaze theory and clay bodies. You leave with test pieces and the means to test materials at home. Up to ten people, and it needs concentration.
