A day with a children’s book illustrator learning charcoal for landscapes and seascapes. The morning covers types of charcoal and additive and subtractive mark making. The afternoon looks at light, shadow, composition and blending, ending in a larger layered landscape drawing. Open to complete beginners and more experienced artists.
