Cornelia Parker made her own version of Copenhagen’s Little Mermaid for the 2011 Triennial. A local woman modelled for it, so the figure is of a Folkestone resident rather than a fairy tale princess. It looks out over Sunny Sands and is one of the best known pieces in the permanent Folkestone Artworks collection.
