About this open studios

Spring Fling is the open studios event for Dumfries and Galloway. Artists and makers open their studios across the region over the late May bank holiday weekend, and 111 took part in 2026. It began in 2003 and 2027 is its 25th year. Visitors plan a route using the printed brochure, a digital version of it and the listings of studios on the website, then move between studios at their own pace. Entry is free.
