Artists, craftspeople and designer makers in and around Cambridge open their studios over the first four weekends of July. About 500 take part, which makes it one of the largest open studios events in the country, and it has run for more than 50 years. Visitors find studios through the printed guide, the website and the area groupings, which include Ely and the surrounding villages. Entry to all studios is free.
