Tom Winter is a painter with a studio at Hengistbury Head in Dorset who has worked freelance for nearly thirty years. After a foundation course at Shelley Park he studied at the Slade School of Fine Art, graduating in 1997, where Euan Uglow was among his teachers. He paints landscape, portrait and still life in oil on board, and makes etchings and drawings, with a strong interest in chiaroscuro. He was a finalist in Sky Arts’ Landscape Artist of the Year in 2026.
