Stephanie Sandercock is a self-taught painter from Lancashire who moved to Cornwall in 2014 and lives near St Ives; earlier she released albums as a musician. She builds her paintings in layers of limestone and marble plaster, pigment, mica and gold, then sands and cuts into them, taking her forms from the coastal rocks around Gwithian. She is a member of the Penwith Society of Arts, and Winds of Change is another solo show at Penwith Gallery.
