Paula Ogun Hector is a Jamaican, Haitian and British artist and curator who founded Tapestry of Black Britons, a touring set of large woven panels tracing almost 2,000 years of African and Caribbean presence in Britain. Her designs draw on the storytelling of the Bayeux Tapestry and on Akan weaving, and are woven by the Bristol studio Dash and Miller. She studied at the University of Sussex.
