Nicole Wermers is a German artist, born in Emsdetten in 1971, who is based in London. She makes sculpture, collage and installations from the stuff of everyday design and shopping: furniture, fittings and fashion. She was shortlisted for the Turner Prize in 2015 with Infrastruktur, an installation of chairs with vintage fur coats sewn onto their backs.
