Movana Chen was born in 1974 and is a multidisciplinary artist and curator based in Hong Kong. Her work brings together fashion, performance and sculpture. She is known for a practice in which she knits shredded and printed pages into wearable pieces, turning paper and text into something to be worn and moved in. Her work has been presented in exhibitions and events in Hong Kong, Beijing, Seoul, London and Paris. Her name is also written in Chinese characters as 陳麗雲, which is how it appears in Hong Kong.
