Lygia Clark was a Brazilian artist from Belo Horizonte and a founder of the Neo-Concrete movement in Rio de Janeiro. After geometric paintings she made her Bichos, hinged metal sculptures that the viewer folds into new shapes. She went on to make objects and sensory experiences for people to wear and handle, and later used them in a kind of therapy. The Museum of Modern Art in New York gave her a retrospective in 2014.
