Lindsey Mendick is a British artist, born in 1987, who works mainly in ceramics, often in large installations. Her work rethinks the associations of clay with the home and with decoration, drawing on autobiography, popular culture and ideas about gender. She took a BA at Sheffield Hallam University and an MA in sculpture at the Royal College of Art in 2017. She has exhibited at Yorkshire Sculpture Park and the Hayward Gallery, and won the Sky Arts Award for Visual Art in 2024.
