Julia Sorrell is a British artist, born in Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex, on 4 August 1955. She is known for portraits and for imaginative drawings and paintings that use figures alongside natural forms such as wood, shells, rock and plants. She works in pencil, charcoal, pen and ink, pastel, watercolour and oil. She lives in Oxfordshire and shows in London at the Mall Galleries as a member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours.
