Jonny Hannah is a Scottish illustrator and printmaker whose screenprints, books and posters are full of jazz, fairgrounds, sailors and hand-drawn lettering. Born in Dunfermline, he studied illustration at Liverpool Art School and the Royal College of Art, finishing in 1998. Much of his work is set in Darktown, an imaginary town gathered in his book Greetings from Darktown in 2014. He runs the Cakes and Ale Press with Sharon Hannah and lives by the sea in Southampton.
