Jenny Saville

Jenny Saville is an English painter from Cambridge who studied at the Glasgow School of Art. Her huge paintings of naked female bodies, often seen from below and heavily painted, were bought by Charles Saatchi and shown in the Sensation exhibition, making her one of the Young British Artists. Propped, her degree show self-portrait, is one of her best-known works. She lives and works in Oxford.
