Jenkin van Zyl is a British artist and film-maker, born in 1993 and based in London. He makes immersive installations that combine film with large sculptural sets and costumes, often in grotesque and theatrical styles. His projects use looping stories to look at how communities form and how surveillance, spectacle and power shape them. His installation Enclosure is at Somerset House.
