Jakob Rowlinson

Leather sculpture; ROTATOR

Jakob Rowlinson is a British artist who makes large sculptures from reclaimed leather garments. His work merges the sacred and the profane, drawing on angels, demons and green men alongside queer fashion and fetish references. After a residency shared by Yorkshire Sculpture Park and The Art House in 2024, he made his first institutional project there in 2026: ROTATOR, three hanging leather figures coloured with oak-gall dye from the park, and REVIVER in Wakefield.
