Georgina Starr is an English artist, born in 1968, and one of the Young British Artists. She is best known for her video, sound, performance and installation works, which invent elaborate imaginary worlds and characters out of her own memories and obsessions. Artforum has described her work as exploring the imaginative self’s ability to make something magically complex out of very little.
