Emily Faludy is a landscape painter from Portsmouth who works directly in front of her subject, mostly with a palette knife in oil on board. In 2024 her work became the first shown on The Windbreaks public art site on Southsea seafront, and in 2025 she received an Arts Council England grant to develop her practice. Having moved to West Cornwall, she now paints the harbours and coast around Newlyn, Porthleven and Porthcurno. Grounded is her first solo show with Tregony Contemporary.
