Dala Nasser is a Lebanese artist, born in 1990, who is based between Beirut and London. She makes large works on fabric and paper by pressing, rubbing and staining them against the surfaces of particular places, from ruins and rivers to cemeteries, often in southern Lebanon. Her work deals with landscape, war and what places hold of their histories. Her exhibitions have been reviewed in Frieze and Artforum, and she is part of British Art Show 10.
