Ann McCay is a painter whose often theatrical pictures set man-made structures among overgrown vegetation, leading the eye along paths and through windows and doorways. Composition, pattern and colour give her paintings a sense of story. She shows regularly in the Welsh Marches, including Twenty Twenty Gallery in Ludlow and Old Chapel Gallery in Pembridge.
