Newcastle Quayside Sculpture Walk

6 artworks · about 0.5 miles

A short riverside walk past sculptures made when the Quayside was redeveloped in the 1990s, with a fiddler’s memorial on the Gateshead bank to begin. It takes about 45 minutes on foot. Start on Bottle Bank in Gateshead, cross the Swing Bridge, then follow the Newcastle waterfront east to the Blacksmith’s Needle. The works are listed in Wikipedia’s public art list for the city.
