Gazellah Bruder is one of the most prominent women artists in Papua New Guinea. She was born in 1977 and works largely in printmaking. Her art looks at the gender, social and sexual issues that continue to marginalise women in Papua New Guinea, and at environmental subjects. Her work has appeared in more than fifty exhibitions.
