Cleo Mussi is a mosaic artist based in Stroud who studied textiles at Goldsmiths and taught herself mosaic. She makes figures and wall pieces, often life-size, from discarded tableware by makers such as Wedgwood and Royal Worcester, with a humorous and political eye on consumption, migration and nature. Her first major show, at the Royal Festival Hall in 1991, sold out, and her commissions include work for John Lewis in Solihull and the BBC Asian Network in Leicester.
