Carry Akroyd is a British painter and printmaker whose screenprints, made with hand-cut paper stencils, look at arable farmland and the wildlife that lives in it. She took an MA in fine art at Northampton and lives on the border of Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire. She has illustrated three books of John Clare’s poetry and became President of the John Clare Society in 2016. A member of the Society of Wildlife Artists since 2000, she also designs the covers for Bloomsbury’s British Wildlife Collection.
